What Is HiddenLevers?
HiddenLevers brings a new approach to portfolio and stock analysis to investors. By connecting big-picture economic factors with stocks and industries, HiddenLevers helps investors to understand how different economic scenarios can impact their investments. HiddenLevers emphasizes Scenario Analysis, which enables investors to visualize, plan for, and capitalize on a spectrum of macroeconomic events.
HiddenLevers is a member of the NYU Poly / City of New York Incubator, and is affiliated with the Advanced Technology Development Center at Georgia Tech.
HiddenLevers was selected as the #2 startup at FinovateSpring2010 by TrendCaller.net., and is a presenter at FinovateFall2010.

How Does It Work?
HiddenLevers uses statistical analysis and other approaches to model the relationships between different industries and levers (economic factors). Scenarios are then created as a set of up or down changes in levers based on the event being modeled. The scenarios thus move the levers, which in turn move industries, which move individual stocks. Who Is Behind HiddenLevers?
  Praveen Ghanta is responsible for the HiddenLevers engine and product development, and has a deep background in finance IT, having built credit derivatives trading and risk management systems at Deutsche Bank. Previously, he founded and led SmartWorkGroups, an online collaboration startup, until its acquisition by Intralinks in July 2000. Praveen is also the author of a Seeking Alpha certified blog called True Cost, which looks at economics and government policy through the lens of cost-benefit analysis. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with degrees in computer science and economics.
 
Raj Udeshi is responsible for business development, and has a background in Emerging Markets sales and trading, at GFI Group and Bank of America Securities. On the Street, Raj dealt in interest rate swaps, currency forwards and FX, credit default swaps, FX options, and other macro risk derivatives for the G7 and Latin America. Raj was previously a founding member of Xolia, a fin-tech startup whose decision-making technology helped users choose the right online broker, life insurance policy, and credit card for their needs. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and the Pepperdine School of Law.
